Community

Show buyers what their cost of living will be like, average income levels in the neighborhood, nearby leisure activities, population growth, climate, crime rates, and more. Our community profiles and demographic data sets help your visitors understand the surroundings of specific neighborhoods with the statistics buyers are factoring into their purchase decisions.

Data Categories

Demographics: Our demographic data provides a comprehensive set of current year estimates developed using proven statistical modeling methodologies. The data incorporates information from the US Census Bureau and Bureau of Labor among other sources, spanning multiple geographies and timeframes. This provides your customers with more accurate and reliable community data than is available from other sources. Fields available include population, education, ethnicity, financial, employment, climate, crime, households and more.

Educational Climate Index: This is based on the US Census Bureau’s Socioeconomic Status elements and is combined with in-house statistical expertise and thorough quality assurance testing to ensure data accuracy. Our Educational Climate Index describes an area’s performance rather than simply that of individual schools.

Cost of Living/Relative Cost Index: We assess the cost of goods in communities relative to the national average by comparing the index values across 16 categories, including items such as Insurance, Food & Beverage, Health Care, Entertainment, Utilities and Personal Care costs.

Consumer Behavior: The flavor of a community is often captured in the attitudes and activities preferred by residents. Behavioral information is collected through a combination of surveys, buying history, store receipts, usage data and other statistics from sources including marketing firms, insurance companies, POS systems, cable and radio media tracking, and ticket sales.

Housing Stability: The housing market in a particular community can be examined by allowing users to analyze the residential turnover, residency figures and housing inventory numbers.

Employment and Finance: This data provides information regarding the economic standing of the area, which may include factors such as employment, white collar / blue collar breakdown and household income averages.
