The relationship has since evolved to service both niche lifestyle markets and individuals looking for their ideal place to live, work, or retire. U.S. News also tapped Onboard to provide data in mini-lists for niche lifestyles through the creation of Affordable Places to Retire on the Water, Best Places for Lifelong Learning, and Best Places for Tech Jobs among many others.
Results – In the 2009 edition the Best Places to Live, U.S. News launched an interactive search tool powered by Onboard Informatics data that allows users to find their customized Best Places to Live, Work, and Retire. U.S. News experienced strong traffic in breakout stories focusing on specific consumer lifestyle attributes based on Onboard Informatics’ Points of Interest data sets.
