Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, the international real estate services brand whose website www.coldwellbanker.com has had over 30 million visitors, had several projects to enhance and expand the information and capabilities of their website to stay ahead of consumer expectations.
The Coldwell Banker® brand website upgrades included additional neighborhood information; branded, enhanced mapping software; a home value estimation tool; and a home tracker tool to help its franchisee's homeowner customers estimate their home values over time. Customer trust and their longstanding reputation were prime concerns and they looked to Onboard as a valuable resource capable of meeting and maintaining their high standards.

Quicken Loans, the nation's #1 online mortgage lender handling billions of dollars in home loans every year, wanted to create an ambitious, groundbreaking website that would give consumers a complete picture of their home, finances and life. Free credit reports, home values, jobs, retirement and college savings, mortgages, community data and more are gathered in one place to provide users insight into how they are managing their lives. The site, Quizzle, "is intended to be an educator - one spot for people to go on the web to see all of the stuff that they should know about themselves, get graded and improve their situations," says Todd Albery, Creator of Webolutions, at Quicken Loans.
Quizzle's tagline "Don't Guess, Know!" demanded accurate data. Quicken Loans was confident that Onboard could provide dependable, in-depth community and home value content that would integrate seamlessly into the scope of their project. In a large-scale project presenting many challenges, the aspects involving Onboard's data and support team gave Quicken a lot less things to worry about. Quizzle is now a success, helping consumers in their decision-making process.

Homescape, a leading national real estate search site with over 3 million listings, connects buyers and sellers with local property listings and real estate professionals. To keep up with the demands of the online marketplace, Homescape needed to add local, neighborhood data for consumers searching their site.
The Onboard support team's extensive experience with this way of applying their data made the process go very smoothly. Homescape enjoyed "the ease of having to only work with one data partner, as opposed to multiple." Homescape now has a strong base of neighborhood information to build upon for online homebuyers and sellers, including school information, recent sales data, and local attractions such as restaurants, libraries and parks. NRT, the nation's largest residential real estate brokerage firm, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Realogy®, and does business under the Coldwell Banker®, ERA®, Sotheby's International Realty®, and The Corcoran Group® brands. Operating over a dozen consumer real estate websites, NRT was looking to partner with a company to enhance its listings with community and school information. The key was for the data and interfaces to be adaptable so that the many sites could have the content up and running in a short time without the usual technical problems. This far-reaching project affected their business nationally.
Onboard's support team met the challenge with data and products that were smoothly deployed to the sites. The individual sites were not only able to integrate the data and programs, but were able to customize them when they wanted to make improvements. For one site covering markets in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York, Onboard worked with NRT to establish a "Smart Linking" system to match detailed school and district information for individual listings. Redfin, a Seattle-based online real estate brokerage, uses technology to empower consumers by providing information that would usually come through an agent, including past sales, property outlines, neighborhoods, price changes, and blogs. In their continuing goal to provide all relevant information, Redfin wanted to upgrade to include school and school rating content.
Hearing that "OnBoard had the best data around," Redfin had them to supply the schools and ratings information, as well as a consumer interface for narrowing down the data. As the project progressed, Redfin had Onboard add boundaries and general neighborhood information to their site, making it even more useful and attractive to consumers.
